Sad news today, it has been passed to us that Tom Devine passed away this morning (1/9/11).

Tom was a very important part of Delta Cross Country and Track over the years.

He was also a master teacher and mentor to staff and students.

Please remember his family in your prayers.

School record broken by Emily Grider and Jenna Parsons

Junior Emily Grider and freshman Jenna Parsons each broke the previous school record for 5,000 meters in the Eagle Invitational cross country meet on Saturday.

Grider ran the distance in 19 minutes, 58.42 seconds and is the new school record holder. Parsons finished in 20:06, which also broke the previous mark of 20:22 set by Megan Marsh in 2007.
