German Fernandez runs 4:00:29 for the 1600m at California State Meet, then returns two hours later for a 8:34 3200m. Above video is the 1600m race. German was perfect pace 60-60-60-60 for all four laps. 1982 Dream Mile - the American (Steve Scott 3:47.69), New Zealand (John Walker 3:49.08) and Irish (Ray Flynn 3:49.77) mile records were all set.
